Square Golf Acrylic to Polycarbonate Case Upgrade

Upgrade your original Simply 3D Prints acrylic case

Our first Square Golf protective cases were manufactured from acrylic. We later upgraded the design to polycarbonate for significantly improved impact resistance.

This product allows existing customers to upgrade their original acrylic case without purchasing a completely new setup.

Important compatibility information

Some of the earliest 4-foot base versions were designed around thinner material and may have smaller mounting holes. If you have one of these early versions, please check that a 2 mm case will fit your base before ordering.

This upgrade is intended only for existing customers who previously purchased our acrylic Square Golf protective case.

Before ordering

First check that you currently have our original acrylic version and that your existing base is compatible with the 2 mm polycarbonate replacement.

How to identify your case:

Polycarbonate version

• Approximately 8 × 8 mm internal size at the relevant mounting area
• Originally supplied with white protective film

Acrylic version

• Approximately 10 × 10 mm internal size at the relevant mounting area
• Originally supplied with matt transparent protective film

Cases shipped after 4 December 2024 were already supplied in polycarbonate and normally do not require this upgrade.

Early 4-foot base: If you have one of our earliest 4-foot base versions, please check compatibility before ordering. The mounting holes may be smaller because these bases were designed for thinner material.

Polycarbonate is considerably more impact resistant than acrylic and is the material we now use for our current Square Golf protective cases.

Minor cosmetic marks may occasionally be present from manufacturing or handling and do not affect the protective function of the case.
