Bought this device as a viable alternative to the extra (and expensive) pre-marked balls sold on the Square website, particularly since I have dozens of "unmarked" golf balls laying around, and thought it might be better to have more than the 3 that came with the launch monitor. Some reviews say that the Sharpie ink may transfer to your impact screen - can't speak to that since I'm not using an impact screen. But I did use small black stickers thinking it might just be neater - wrong - the stickers got all mangled. But the monitor picked up the balls marked using this device with no problem. I'm going to mark more balls with a Sharpie. This product has worked for me and will eventually pay for itself.
Shipping was fast. The unit is pretty good quality too. very happy with the purchase.
Works as it should. If you use a permanent marker to mark your ball, don't use it with an impact screen. You will have little black dots all over your screen.
